One of just a handful of American-built trawlers introduced in recent years, the Mainship 390 (Called the 350 formerly) is a stylish and moderately priced sedan-style trawler with classic lines and a good turn of speed. Unlike a true trawler with a full displacement hull, the 390 is built on a faster semi-displacement hull with flat after-sections, a long keel and a skeg-mounted rudder which protects the running gear in the event of grounding. The Mainship 350/390 is a big boat inside thanks to her wide 14-foot beam, and the floorplan manages to include double berths in both staterooms as well as a separate stall shower in the head. (Note that the guest stateroom is partially tucked beneath the galley.) Visibility from the lower helm is excellent, and a deck door provides easy access to the foredeck. An aft, sliding glass door opens to the covered cockpit where a series of molded steps (instead of a ladder) ascends to the extended flybridge (very easy flybridge access). Additional features include deep, well protected side decks, an integral swim platform, transom door, a full teak interior, radar mast, and many other options. This one-owner vessel has many upgrades; too numerous to mention, and is powered by a single 300-hp Caterpillar diesel with only 1,115-hours, that will cruise easily at 12-knots, and reach a top speed of around 14-knots. She is expertly maintained, in very clean condition (looks new), and ready to make a great second home, or cruise extensively; please give us a call for more details or an appointment to view this beauty.
