The Serendipity 43 is a performance cruiser/racer that could still be used for racing if desired, however, due to her having a full cruising interior, would also be excellent for performance cruising. This particular boat has had an unusual history in that she was holed on her starboard beam and partially sunk during a hurricane in 95 as she lay in her berth in a marina in Puerto Rico. She was then salvaged and brought to the BVI where her new owner begun the job of repairing and upgrading her. Firstly the hull damage was professionally repaired by one the best repair specialists in the Caribbean and also resprayed with her current red awlgrip at that time. After this, and over a period of years, she was upgraded with a new Yanmar engine, replacement standing rigging, a new mainsail and replacement electronics as well as having a cosmetic overhaul.
