STAR OF ORION is a classic Hunter design which combines the characteristics of a competitive club racer with the creature comforts and finish of luxury cruiser. The salon is entered down several steps from forward in the aft cockpit. One is immediately struck spacious interior and the rich teak joiner work, teal & holly sole and Corian countertops throughout. Immediately to starboard is the fully equipped L-shaped galley which features a 2-burner gimbaled propane stove w/oven, separate refrigeration & freezer system, double SS sinks w/hot & cold pressurized water, microwave and plenty of counter, cabinet and drawer space for storing food and dishes. Adjacent to port is the aft head compartment, which has a Jabsco manual head, separate stall shower and a vanity with sink and extra storage. The spacious master cabin is aft with an athwarship double berth, bench seat, hanging locker, private access to the head compartment and lots of storage. Forward of the head is the nav station, which has a laptop hook-up. Forward of the galley is a large C-shaped convertible dinette with a teak table. Adjacent to port is a straight convertible settee. There is a AM/FM/CD stereo system. The guest cabin is forward and has a V-berth, hanging locker and a vanity w/sink. The deck is well laid out with all sheets and halyards running aft to the cockpit where they are neatly organized on cleat blocks. She features an aluminum deck stepped main with a blue sail cover, mainsheet traveler, SS wire rigging, Lazy Jacks, roller-furling headsail, manual boom vang and Lewmar self tailing winches.
