Accommodations If you are a serious cruiser, the most important thing to look at first is the cockpit because that is where you will spend 90% of your waking hours, say nothing about naps or sleeping under the stars while off shore. This vessel passes this critical test with flying colors! Look at the cockpit photos and you will see seats long enough to sleep on, high back support, room to eat and/or entertain, secure positions for when conditions are rough, a dry cockpit in foul conditions, excellent cockpit drainage, and a high bridge deck. She even has all of the curtains to fully enclose her. Inside the accommodations provide the beautiful teak, quality workmanship and warm feeling you expect from Tayana. The L-shaped galley, with wide counter tops, separate refrigerator and freezer, deep stainless sinks, 3 burner Force Ten propane stove/oven/broiler. The private aft cabin, with sleeping for two plus custom designed storage and hanging space is across from the galley on port. Just forward of the aft cabin on the port side is the custom navigation station with instruments that repeat all the information provided at the helm (boat speed, depth, wind speed/direction, VHF, etc) plus an ICOM SSB, all electric circuit breakers and battery monitoring information. The main salon has an L-shaped settee on starboard with a centerline fold-out table. This settee also pulls out to make a nice queen sized berth. On the port side there is a settee with access to the table for dining. Both sides of the main salon have great storage, shelves and book racks, plus there is a color TV w/built-in VCR. Forward of the main salon on starboard is the full marine head and a separate walk-in shower. Across from the head are more cabinets and hanging lockers. The forward sleeping cabin is forward of the marine head and has a large V-shaped berth for two people plus good storage and ventilation. Central a/c, 16,000 BTU with r/c heat. Digital controls, 3-cabin distribution with directional teak louvers. Custom pantry with 5 narrow shelves for stores. Wet locker at companionway All cabinets fully wood lined. Custom forward facing navigation station with dedicated seat.
